Pat Jollota Leadership Award
A Lifetime Achievement Award
A person who has provided significant leadership and service to aging services & programs in Clark County; this can include an individual who has dedicated his/her time, talent and treasures over a course of their career in the field of gerontology and aging services.
This award is named in honor of a dedicated public and community servant. Read more about her service here.

Two Awards Annually
One award for a not-for-profit organization and one award to a for-profit business. Both serve in Clark County and provide exceptional leadership in the areas of service collaboration; financial support; innovative services; community service to seniors; etc. for the benefit of the senior population in Clark County. These can be a local, state, regional, or national company that advocates for the well-being of seniors and promotes aging with dignity.
Community Hero Award
Any individual in Clark County that is in service to a senior(s) and has an unparalleled dedication to the health and wellbeing of that individual. For example, a family caregiver, a fitness expert, or a person that has a passion for service to seniors.
Senior Champion Award
Any individual that advocates for the rights and well-being of seniors in the community. We’re looking for a person that goes to bat for their client or neighbor and goes above and beyond what is expected. This category can include legal, financial, and fiduciary professionals as wells as guardians, case managers, and everyday citizens.
Caregivers of the Year
Any professional caregivers in Clark County who have provided exemplary caregiver services to seniors. The person should demonstrate a caregiving career that values service to others and provides an exceptional level of care to seniors. They might be a CNA, HCA, or individual provider.
Healthcare Professional Award
Any person in the medical profession that goes above and beyond for the seniors in their care. Medical Doctor (MD, all specialties), Clinical Audiologist (Au.D.) Nurse Practitioner (N.P.), Psychologist (PsyD), Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM), Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse(LPN/LVN), Occupational therapist (O.T), Registered Nurse (RN), Registered Dietitian (RD), Physical Therapist (PT), Professional Clinical nurse specialist (CNS), Speech Language Pathologist (SLP), Clinical social worker (CSW), Physician Assistant (PA).
How Do I Nominate a Hero?
Open to non-profits who have not won a grant in previous years.
Previous applicants are welcome to apply again.
Submit a 1 minute video sharing about your innovation and how the grant will grow it's impact.
The video does not need to be professionally made.
It just needs to tell your story in a compelling way.
A panel of judges will choose the top 3; event guests will vote for the winner.

2020 Luncheon Beneficiary
Who do the luncheon funds benefit?
The primary purpose of the luncheon is to honor the heroes of 2020. However, every year, extra funds are raised through donations at the luncheon for a select non-profit. This year, these designated funds will be gifted to Meals on Wheels People.
The 2020 luncheon is hosted at Warehouse 23, 100 Columbia St #102, Vancouver, WA 98660.
